1. How much can I earn being a Union member? Work opportunity?

Masonry wage ranges from $35.16 - $40.76 depending on the area you are working.
Tile wage ranges from $26.46 - $36.71 depending on the area you are working.
We have over 150 signatory employers.

2. Do my health benefits come out of my check?

No, the benefits are paid by your employer, that includes Health, Pension and Annuity.
Masonry benefits range from $26.11 - $27.78 depending on the area you are working.
Tile benefits range from $22.16 - $26.23 depending on the area you are working.

3. What are my Union benefits? Health, Pension & Annuity.

Health Benefits - Gain eligibility the month after $1,500.00 is received in your PAP Account. Select from
single, two-person or family plan or for a $100.00 fee a month you can opt out. The health plan receives a
contribution of approximately $10.35 per hour from your employer.
Pension Benefits - The Defined Benefit Pension Plan requires a 5-year vesting to be eligible for
retirement. The Pension plan receives a contribution of approximately $9.10 per hour from your
employer.
Annuity Benefits - The Defined Contribution Plan requires 100 hours worked and received to become
vested. Hardship distributions available and quarterly investment postings.

4. Can I receive Forman training, safety classes and cross training?

Yes, we offer many options for training at no cost to you.

5. How can I become a member?

The process includes filling out the membership application and interviewing with a representative. We
can then place you to work when available and you will have a 7-day trial period.

6. Does the Union have social events?

Yes, we have annual events such as Clam Bake, Golf Tournament, Motorcycle Benefit rides and Holiday
parties. Additionally, we offer tickets for sporting events such as MMA fights, Football and Hockey games.
